Colorado Ranks 10th on the Annual LEED Top Ten List

Colorado ranked 10th on the U.S. Green Building Council’s annual list of the top 10 states for LEED certification. The list highlights states throughout America that are making significant strides in sustainable design, construction and transformation at the building level.

In Colorado, a total of 76 projects earned LEED certification in 2017, totaling more than 11.4 million square feet and representing 2.27 sf of certified space per capita. Colorado has consistently been a leader in the development of green building, making the annual list every year since its inception in 2010. In 2016, Colorado ranked No. 2 on the list.
